West Plains Mining is a large-scale producer of Ag Lime, Limestone, crushed stone, construction aggregates, and other stone products with locations in Wabash, Indiana and South Bend, Indiana. 

Bunnell Land Surveying has provided Surveying services for West Plains Mining since 2007 including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, railroad bridge and railway construction staking.  Using these services, West Plains Mining constructed an inter-looping track around the perimeter of their property that also connects to the Norfolk Southern Railway mainline.  As part of that project, BLS supplied construction staking services for the formation of the railway tunnel underneath Old State Road 24.
